A generous donation from Metro Fire Apparatus of 10 sets of Sperian bunker gear has allowed Tolar VFD to replace some worn out personal protective equipment. The $27,000 grant gave us a much needed boost in bunker gear supply. Now all members of the Tolar VFD are in updated gear. THANK YOU METRO FIRE! Check em out at www.MFAS.com

UPDATE: Possum Kingdom Complex Fire
The needs of the firefighters fighting the Palo Pinto fires have been met. Thank you for your generosity. The fire is now contained and should be declared "OUT" today (28th). Once again, thank you for your support.

With the help of a generous grant from Nortex Gas Storage the Tolar VFD was able to purchase and place into service several pieces of extrication/rescue equipment. 2 Paratec stabilization struts were purchased along with a full set of cribbing, and a Honda powered poratable generator/light. Hats off to Nortex for their generosity.
